The Lakes is situated on Route 52 of the Bay Hopper bus routes which is known as 'The Lakes Express and Tauranga Crossing' service.

During peak travel times a commuter express service runs directly to the Tauranga CBD while outside of peak travel times the service travels via Greerton.
